SET 117: ABERDEEN KINGS OF EUROPE 1982-83

A 15 card complete set of caricature illustrations of Aberdeen's legendary ECWC side of 1982/83. Each card measures 68mm x 36mm, with the reverse side of each card giving a player biography. Those Aberdeen legends included in this set are:-JIM LEIGHTON, DOUG ROUGVIE, JOHN McMASTER, NEALE COOPER, ALEX McLEISH WILLIE MILLER, GORDON STRACHAN, NEIL SIMPSON, MARK McGHEE, ERIC BLACK, PETER WEIR, JOHN HEWITT and STUART KENNEDY, (who didn't play in the final, but played in most of the other games that season). CARD 14 FEATURES ALEX FERGUSON and ARCHIE KNOX. CARD 15 TELLS HOW THE DONS GOT TO AND WON THE ECWC.
